Oneplus Bullets Wireless Fastest Charging Earphones?
Alongside the OnePlus 6, is the OnePlus Bullets Wireless earphones which are due to release this June.
These days, wireless entails removing the cord altogether as seen with the Apple Airpods and the Huawei Freebuds, but OnePlus Bullets Wireless has decided to keep a neck strap – convenient for hanging if you don’t want to listen to music. The cord doubles as a battery slip, allowing more space for its other features. Rest assured, Bluetooth capabilities are solid with the Qualcomm aptX that ensures smooth transmission between the earphones and your device.
Its fast charge feature which allows 5 hours of play with just 10 minutes of charge (whilst a full charge will give you 8 hrs) – all without sacrificing audio sound. Being USB-C enabled also allows you to charge on the go without bringing an extra cord (considering that you’ve got one already).
Probably one of OnePlus’s more unique capabilities is the magnetic clasp feature that pauses your music when it clips together. No more reaching out to your phone to manually pause the music! The only downside is that you have to remove both buds to use the magnetic function. Pretty bothersome if you only want to take out one earbud and pause your music at the same time. Regardless, it’ll be useful in most situations.
In terms of sound, the OnePlus Bullets Wireless appear to match up to its competitors but also boasts an ‘Energy Tube’. Basically, this fancy contraption is able to minimise distortion by eliminating stray sound waves once the music reaches the buds, allowing for a ‘richer bass experience’. Whether it’ll live up to its claim, you’ll have to wait until June 5th to find out.
However, with a relatively low price point of $69 USD, you won’t need to blow an arm and a leg to snatch yourself one of these bad boys. Looking forward to testing them out myself!
